How to Register
Degree-Seeking students
Before you begin your registration, please check your student record for your exact time ticket date and for any hold(s) that may prevent your registration.
A time ticket displays the date and time during which a student may register. You will be able to access your Registration Time Ticket under Registration Eligibility in the Student Self-Service website .
A hold(s) prevents certain student activity such as registration or graduation, or the release of transcripts and grade reports. Holds may be viewed under Registration Eligibility or View Holds in the Student Self-Service website.
For a complete listing of registration procedures for the current term, visit Campus Degree Student Registration Procedures.
THEN, GO THROUGH THE FOLLOWING STEPS TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION:
STEP 1: Find the course(s) that you wish to take. Online semester based courses for the upcoming semester can be found in the Course Search. These same courses also can be found in the Course Information Suite under “all classes”.
Note: Both degree and nondegree students may enroll in up to three course sections at a time.
STEP2: Search for semester-based courses by selecting the term, subject, and online or by CRN. A CRN (Course Reference Number) is a five-digit number that uniquely identifies the course section. (Example: 35603 = HIST 273 ONL). Course type options are either self-paced or semester-based.
STEP 3: Register online using the Student Self-Service website, just as you would for face-to-face courses on campus.
